Data Warehousing/ETL Professionals

Following a period of growth, we are now looking for experienced ETL professionals to join our consultancy team. Expertise Required:

• Data Integration skills (at least one of the following):
• Proprietary: Informatica, SAS Data Integration Studio, IBM Data Stage, Oracle
• Open Source: Talend, Postgres, My SQL, CUDA, Python

• Strong querying , data analysis and data flow mapping skills (a must)

• Data quality skills – checks, standardisation, house holding etc. (an understanding)

• Data architecture skills (an understanding):
• data modelling (normalisation, referential integrity etc.)
• dimension modelling (dimensions, facts, SCDs etc.)

• XML scripting and open source data integration skills (strong plus)
• Database/ETL performance tuning and programming skills

Experience:

• Experience in design, development and deployment of data management processes including data acquisition, data integration, data modelling, data quality etc. (using toolsets mentioned above) in a customer/development environment.
• Interpretation, preparation and mapping of complex financial data and explaining complex technical information.
• Experience in design, development and deploy of data warehouses or relational/analytical/multidimensional data marts.
• Experience in the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies such as Agile and SCRUM is desirable.

Requirements:

• Successful candidates will have had at least 5+ years previous experience as a Data Warehouse/ETL consultant, Database Developer, SQL Programmer, System Analyst, Software Developer, and/or experience with proprietary or open source data integration tools.
• 2.1 degree or higher, preferably with a numerical or programming focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
